The flame retardant grades of fireproof and high temperature resistant air ducts are divided into the following categories:
1, HB: The lowest flame retardant grade in the UL94 standard. It is required that for samples with a thickness of 3 to 13 mm, the burning rate is less than 40 mm per minute; for samples with a thickness of less than 3 mm, the burning rate is less than 70 mm per minute; or extinguished before the 100 mm mark.
2, V-2: After two 10-second burn tests on the sample, the flame goes out within 60 seconds. There may be burning objects falling.
3, V-1: After the sample is subjected to two 10-second burning tests, the flame is extinguished within 60 seconds. No burning objects should fall.
4, V-0: After two 10-second burning tests on the sample, the flame goes out within 30 seconds. No burning objects should fall.

The higher the flame-retardant level, such as flame-retardant VO high-temperature air ducts, the flame will self-extinguish within 30 after being burned with a lighter. This is the highest flame-retardant level. Basically all ducts are flame-retardant. VO and V1, because most high temperature resistant air ducts are used in environments with temperature requirements, there are also certain requirements for flame retardancy. If the air duct is not flame retardant, it will often cause safety hazards.
High temperature resistant duct application industry
1. Air supply and exhaust. Including ventilation, such as supply of fresh air and exhaust, this range is very wide, such as factory workshops, production site air, due to the generation of harmful gases, it needs to be exhausted outdoors, and outdoor air needs to be transported indoors. At this time, air delivery pipes with large flow and low pressure are used, and telescopic air pipes are the most suitable.
2, send cold air. The most common is the pipeline of central air-conditioning, this kind of pipeline needs to add insulation material. The high-temperature-resistant telescopic air duct can be pasted with thermal insulation material, which looks beautiful in appearance.
3, exhaust fumes. A large amount of oil fume is generated in restaurants, restaurants, and hotel kitchens and needs to be discharged. The circular air duct is the oil chimney. Here, the telescopic duct should be called the soot duct.
4, dust removal. In some factories, there is a lot of dust in the production workshops, and special dust removal devices are required. Among them, the pipes with large air flow can use the negative pressure and high temperature telescopic ventilation pipes.
5. Bulk material transportation. In the production process of some factories, it is necessary to transport loose particles, especially the use of spiral ducts such as foamed plastic particles with a small proportion of low cost and good effect.
