Plastic hoses are usually used as suction and conveying pipes and have a wide range of uses. So what should be paid attention to when using plastic hoses?
Be sure to use plastic hoses within the specified temperature and pressure range. When applying pressure, please open/close any valve slowly to avoid shock pressure and damage to the hose. The hose will expand and contract slightly with the change of its internal pressure. Please cut the hose to a slightly longer length than you need when using it.
The plastic hose used should be suitable for the fluid loaded. When you are not sure whether the hose used is suitable for a certain fluid, please consult a professional.
Do not use non-food grade hoses for the production or processing of food products, supply of drinking water, and cooking or washing food. Please use the hose above its minimum bending radius. When the hose is applied to powders and granules, please enlarge its bending radius as much as possible to reduce the possible wear on the hose.
·Do not use it in an extremely bent state near metal parts.
·Do not directly touch or close the hose to an open flame.
·Do not crush the hose with a vehicle, etc.
·When cutting the transparent plastic steel wire hose, the exposed steel wire may cause injury to people, please pay special attention.
Precautions when assembling plastic hose:
·Please select a metal fitting suitable for the hose size and fit it.
·When inserting the fish-scale groove part of the connector into the hose, apply oil to the hose and fish-scale groove part, and do not roast it with fire. If it cannot be inserted, use hot water to heat the hose and insert it.
Attentions when inspecting plastic hoses:
·Before using the hose, please confirm whether there are any abnormalities in the appearance of the hose (traumatic injury, hardening, softening, discoloration, etc.);
·During the normal use period of the hose, please be sure to implement a regular inspection once a month.
·The service life of the hose is largely affected by the characteristics of the fluid, temperature, flow rate, and pressure. If abnormal signs are found in the pre-operation inspections and regular inspections, please stop using them immediately and repair or replace them with new hoses.
Precautions when storing plastic hoses:
·After using the hose, please remove the residue inside the hose.
·Please keep it indoors or in a dark, well-ventilated place.
·Do not store the hose in an extremely bent state.
Precautions when discarding plastic hoses:
·Do not burn. Because it will damage the incinerator during incineration. Please dispose of it as industrial waste.
·When discarding, please follow the classification requirements of each region.
